untitled World Famous Vintage Hawaiian Shirt Collection & Website *********************************** This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase what is almost inarguably the most famous collection of vintage Hawaiian shirts in the world, as well as an extremely highly ranked Hawaiian shirt website(on Google, that is) and the copyrights to all of the images. That's right, I've decided to let them all go and set them free. It's time for someone else to enjoy my collection of Large and Extra Large vintage rayon, silk and cotton shirts. I've never really done a whole lot with this site, at one time I was going to add a flying hoola girl to the homepage and make her a link to shirts for sale, but then I decided not to do that for some reason. If you read the text on the pages, you'll see that this website was a junior college class project back when i was studying webdesign. it was never intended to be anymore than that. Since then my collection and website has been featured on CNN as well as countless magazine and newspaper articles. All of the shirts are in decent condition for their age. The truth is I stopped wearing them around the time I set up the website. Some of them need some mending(both of the Gaugin prints come to mind), while many are in excellent, almost new condition. All of the shirts are either large or extra large except for Rayon #53 which is a medium. Several of the shirts are so rare that I've never seen them anywhere else in all the years that I've been collecting(Rayon #10, Rayon #28, Rayon #29, Cotton #1, Cotton #17, and Cotton #19 to name just a few).I really want to emphasize that i've given a lot of thought to the starting bid. i realize there are those who would probably like to buy just the shirts, while others might be more interested in just the website. Obviously, because this is an auction for a large sum of money, I've decided not to use paypal as a means of payment. Payment will need to be made by cashier's check or some other secure funds. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS do need to realize that the USPS calculator is often inaccurate with international shipping rates. So I do sometimes add a couple of dollars to the cost to cover myself.
