Description
This beautiful white leather dress is one of two that I custom made for myself and Karen Threse in 1997 for the release of the cd "Heart of the Wolf". I have worn this dress as a women's traditional dancer for several years and it is somewhat dusty and you may want to have it professionally cleaned. Personally I liked having the signs of all of the ceremonies that I have worn this dress to and cannot bring myself to remove them. This dress has seven floor length pull through fringes on both front and back. The cape is partially beaded and the pattern to finish the leaf design is lightly drawn on in pencil and can be removed with a chalk ball, so if you don't want to finish the original design you could remove all of the beads. The leather is traditional leather and therefore has some slight imperfections, but are well hidden. If you are a collector this dress has history. Karen and I took our dresses to the international music conference in Cannes, France to promote our cd with tandem music in 1998. The under dress has traditional ties instead of metal zippers or buttons. All of the fringe onthe dress was hand cut, and the pattern was hand drawn to fit me. I am quite busty so if you are full figured this dress will work well for you.. I know that this dress is destined for someone that loves it as much as I do, and I would keep it but it doesnt fit me anymore. My prayers go with it.
