Lining is a high quality white heavy cotton for comfortability and breathes naturally, especially in these summer months. Lined skirt is gored and full which was depicted in this era.  Seams are all finished. Center back closure. Decorated with 6 verticle lines of pleated ribbon and green velvet braid and rose braid.  There is a 7 inch wide interfaced hem facing at the bottom of the inside of the skirt which is hand hemmed (a picture has been included). Lined, interlined and lightly boned bodice has huge Leg O'Mutton sleeves created from both fabrics.  The lower sleeves has braid decorations running vertically. Vested style front is covered with an embroidered organza and closes down the center front with individually sewn hook and eyes.  This center front is edged with pleated ribbon and dark green silk velvet lapels with fabric covered button decoration at the bottom lapel points. High neckline which also has boning to help it hold its height which closes on the left side. Green brooch is included.
