You are bidding on a lovely Late Victorian Bustle Ball Gown made by Golden Threads Custom Gowns and Reproductions.  This four piece ensemble includes a white highest quality duchesse satin bodice, white duchesse satin underskirt, double layered overskirt in highest quality (has little slubbing unlike most other dupioni) dusty rose 100% silk dupioni and fabulous gold embroidered and pearl beaded cut-out sain lace, and a detachable train in more high quality red 100% silk dupioni.  It is trimmed in pink and white feathers at the shoulders and the overskirt, a pink silk sash, and set off beautifully by twenty hand made red silk dupioni roses and hand made golden silk dupioni leaves.  It is new and has never been worn. This gown is perfect for your next costume event, masquerade, SASS or CAS event (Remember, Convention is right around the corner!!) ball, or it would be the end all of halloween costumes if you so desired to make an entrance!  Anywhere you choose to wear this gown, you will surely be noticed and admired! The gown is made of only the highest quality fabrics (there is well over $350 in fabric alone in this dress!!)  and from period correct patterns.  All trims have been hand sewn on.  The bodice is lined with 100% cotton, interlined with 100% cotton twill, and heavily boned for structure and support.  It closes at the center front with hook and eyes.   It has been made to wear over a corset which is not included in this auction.  The underskirt is unlined and fastens at the side with hook and eyes.  The overskirt has been hand draped for a one of a kind look, the silk is flatlined for body and closes also at the side with hook and eyes.  The lovely silk train is detachable by hook and eyes and has been lined with 100% cotton.   The skirts are designed to be worn with a bustle and petticoats which are not included in this auction.  All seams have been serged to prevent fraying and ensure years of enjoyment.
