Please ask about my convenient layaway plan.Up for bids is my latest creation. A beautiful one of a kind late 1800 Victorian Day Gown. This ensemble was worn once for the filming of the movie Las Vegas, New Mexico 1875. The gown has been professionally dry cleaned and is in like new condition. Unfortunately the batteries in my camera went dead so I did not get any pictures on set.I use authentic patterns all seams are period correct. This gown is so amazing in person and I am sure the high bidder will be more than pleased. A great addition to any Victorian wardrobe.This auction includes the Bodice, Skirt and Hat. The accessories are not included.The bodice also features high mandarin collar trimed with black venise lace and black gimp. To the back of the bodice I have added unique black venise lace. The sleeves are 3/4 length, which are also trimmed in black. The bust measures 38" and the waist 32". These garments should be worn quite snug for the proper period look.The bodice is lined, interlined and fully boned. The back is pleated to accomidate a wire bustle or pad.The skirt is a traditional plain black walking skirt. The skirt closes on the sides with hooks and eyes. The finished length measures 42". I finish all seams, no fraying edgesPlease keep in mind I do not do any alterations.The hat is the perfect finishing touch for this pretty day dress. The hat is made from scratch using buckrum and wire. The hat is trim using the same laces as the bodice.
