It is a nice faded black color with small maroon and white lines running vertically in the material. The embroidered design is simple, but beautifully done. It is a geometric design done with bright threads which are either silk or rayon. This huipil measures 31 inches across or 62 inches around. It hangs 22 inches long and has a very nice drape to it. The neck hole is plenty roomy, 26 inches around. The sleeve holes are 15 inches around which is certainly roomy, but if you needed a bigger sleeve hole, it would just be a matter of taking out the seam under the arm for an inch or so.
