She produced and designed sunglasses and optical frames for many of the famous designer houses in Paris: Pierre Cardin, Christan, Oleg Cassini and many others.   Paulet Guinet was an icon in the optical and sunglass industry of France. She had flamboyant and outgoing personality that is reflected in her designs. From her factory in Oyonnax, France came some of the most unusual and fantastic eyewear ever produced. She directed and supervised a staff of fine artisans who produced her designs, each by hand, cut from the finest Italian sheet plastic material.   During her time she was truly the Grand Dame of the optical and sunglass designers of France.
