This color will also match gowns of diamond white, antique white, or very light ivory (with no cream hue). The lace is a distinctly Victorian pattern with scallops, daisies, scrolls, and leaves in a “fan” shape. One-of-a-kind, custom made mantilla measures 62” in length and 52” in width, oval cut. The lace is 8” wide with a beautiful “eyelash” edge, and is beaded with literally thousands of iridescent sequins and good quality bridal pearls. This mantilla can be worn as a waltz length or fingertip length veil. You can also wear this mantilla “bird cage” or “drop cage” style as shown in the photo for your ceremony, and then switch to a single tier for your reception. "U" shaped bridal pins will hold it in place when worn cage style. I will attach the 5” round-toothed wire comb for the winning bride on the side she chooses (long or short), or I can ship the comb and you can attach it to your liking, just a few stitches are required. This mantilla is completely sewn with illusion thread and is perfect for heirlooming as there is no glue to yellow over the years. The lace is slightly vintage and is very soft and cottony, not stiff like some of the domestic Alencons I’ve seen, even on designer veils. This is true imported French lace, not the domestic “look-alike” variety! The eyelashes say it all! I’ve also designed a short “bird cage” Victorian blusher with a pouf on the back, lightly applied Swarovski crystal rhinestones, and a quality millinery rose with organza leaves, it’s accented with sprays of crystals, rice pearls, leaves, and Lily of the Valley. I’ve seen their growing popularity web-wide, so I decided to fashion one made of matching tulle. It can easily be pinned to the mantilla with bridal hairpins for your ceremony, or worn alone at your reception. There are 2 loops on the back for easy pinning to your hair or the veil.
