Description
OPULENT !!! This auction is for an exquisite, one-of-a-kind crown for a very special pagent, wedding, or dance performance occasion. When you see what this does on stage, you will freak out!!!!!!!!!!! In any light, this tiara comes alive with crazy sparkle! Photo does not show you how this crown sparkles: This has extremely elegant, rich, ubiquitous sparkles in light and under stage lights unlike any other! This is an item you will not find anywhere! Completely hand made-- 40+ hours of delicate, intricate, skilled, concentrated craftwork Most exquisite and rare genuine swarovski crystals used (160+)-- many are nearly impossible to find All of the crystals used here cost many hundreds of dollars-- when purchased, the majority ranged from $1 each to $5 each, and the cost of gold has increased since some were bought A true one-of-a-kind. I will never make this one again. Even if I wanted to replicate this, I could not. Many of the special crystals used were one-of-a-kind. I can no longer obtain them. No risk of anyone else ever owning this style. Perfect for PAGENT, DANCE, OR YOUR WEDDING. Costumes typically cost more than this, but it will look more amazing to wear this with a simple costume, than an expensive costume and an ordinary tiara or crown. At the same time, you can wear this with either a simple or an ornate costume, depending on your taste. You will stand out even amongst the most amazing costumes. You absolutely will look like a PRINCESS or QUEEN, and be remembered forever for the elegance you bring to the stage or the room. Stunning beyond any other costume pieces! This crown was purprosely made to a reasonable height (1 3/4 inches tall in the front), not bulky and tall, which would make it appear gaudy and oStentatious. The result is a look that is rich, lush, pure, tasteful, and exquisite! It has unbelievable sparkle in all directions. The combinations of gold, silver, and aurora borealis cause an interplay of color... a very active, beautiful dance of intense sparkly light! Wear with silver or gold accents or costume details. The combination of colors creates a contrast that enhances the sparkle even more than otherwise! An elegant, gorgeous, spectacular headpiece makes a vivid, lasting impression. It's best to invest in an extraordinary headpiece like this than to choose a costume that is ostentatious! An opulent crown will make you look like a princess rather than someone putting glitz on fabric. Such a crown speaks volumes over even the most detailed costumes. You can keep your costume simple, if you like, and you will still stand out and look like you chose elegance above showy ostentation. The best dance and pagent costumes cost into the high hundreds or thousands of dollars, but I believe it is more important to invest in the headpiece. Your audience looks at your face more than anything else. If you are a dancer, consider how you will bring the eye of the audience to the face, the expressions, the eyes, the windows of the soul. The same applies for a wedding or a pagent. Consider the investment also. This is the kind of item that you can pass down through the family as an heirloom, while sharing the details of the occasions on which it was used. The wires on the inside of the base have handmade loops for inserting hair pins to hold the crown on your head. The crown is flexible in width and can be pinned so that it will be wider or more narrow (sits at 4 1/4 but easily moved to 5+ inches in width). Please do not use any hair sprays or purfumes or any sort of aerosols on this item. In addition, even sweat or grease on a finger tip can rub off the gold or silver coatings on some of the crystals. Please handle this crown with care to avoid all sprays and to avoid rubbing crystals other than very gently with a very soft cloth. Gentle contact, soft touching of crystals is ok, but when I need to press firmly or hold tightly, I do so on the base or by the wire loops inside the base, rather than on the crystals. This item should be stored in a curio cabinet or somewhere that it will be protected from dust and air particles. Please keep in mind that this item can not be returned because of the risk of damage if not properly cared for. I would worry that perfume or hairspray was used upon it or that perhaps it was purchased for an event. It is a precious item, and meant to sell only to someone who wishes to treasure it, wear it for very special events, and view it as sentimental, perhaps passing it along as a family heirloom. Please ask questions if you have any doubts. Peak season for DANCE COMPETITIONS is arriving. I will be listing others, but not many at all. I will try to make more, but will not likely be able to make these rapidly. They take great amounts of time and each is a work of art. I do not do this for profit as much as for the love of the artistic challenge and have found myself unable to make them in a simple form or with basic, ordinary crystals. I nearly always use only rare crystals, but these are the kind that pick up the most light action when on stage or in any lighting from side or above. EXQUISITE !!!
