This gorgeous example of an Jane Austen Evening Outfit is decked to the hilt with rich detail as well as beautiful accessories. This complete Regency costume includes in detail the following: Imagine re-creating one of Jane Austen's famous novels with this lovely dress! DRESS- This is a 3 piece outfit and has the following characteristics: -This elaborate dress boasts of a long fitted dress of rich satin with a whimsical four pointed overskirt in chiffon coming from the empire waistline. The waist band consists of several layers of vintage lavender lace as well as a matching bow with trailing ribbons in front. The lovely neckline is trimmed in gathered vintage lace. The low scoop back closes with a hidden zipper. In the back, the chiffon is pleated at the waistband and the satin under layer is inset 22 inches from the hem with a chiffon covered triangle edged in lace. This allows for a straight front while still allowing room in the back for movement. This dress is fully lined in purple lightweight satin. - The dainty puffed sleeves are a perfect touch to this extremely elegant dress. Each sleeve has a straight satin cap sleeve with hand gathered chiffon on top. The same gathered lace from the neckline trims each cuff.
