This lingerie dress is created with an authentic vintage brown lace slip that I had in my inventory...I just dolled it up a bit. I hand sewed on some exquisite pink venice lace adorned with rhinestones and pearls scattered all over the bust line...giving it a sweet bit of glistening when you move across the floor. I sewed some more onto the bottom of the slip, as well to balance off the design. Under the lace I sewed on some charming tiny pink woven rosebuds that delightfully curve under the bust. I added two strands of pink pearls onto the lace, so they sway in perfect flapper girl motion. On one of the satin straps I sewed on two pink faux suede rose and centered them with pearl tipped stamens. The fabric is so soft to the touch. In the back of the slip I sewed on two tiny lace flower appliques onto the bottom of the straps and added more of the pink venice lace detail onto the back of the waist. This slip dress is so beautiful in person and would look wonderful to wear to a roaring 20's soiree or a night on the town. I added a pink under slip beneath it that has a ruffled lace edge...I will add it in with the dress, but you can either wear it or leave it off...it's up to you...I thought it gave it more of a flapper essence with it, but you can surely wear it without and it will give you a sexier look...or add your own slip to the design...any way your heart desires. I thought I'd design something different than a hat...so I put my artistic thinking cap on and spread my creative wings and sweetly flew with this idea...I hope you like the design...it's pure vintage fashion in my eyes...with a twist of nouveau style.
