The hat is created with an authentic vintage woven straw cloche in navy blue. I wrapped the crown with a soft pink silk fabric and created some roses out of it, which I added onto each side. On one side I made two rose, while the other side has just one with an applique leaf next to it.  I placed some pink silk appliques that are sweetly embroidered on it's leaves and have such delightful edges in an openwork embroidery.  For the finishing touch, I designed four of the leaves with metal wires running through them, so you can bend them any way your heart desires.  I have them folding a bit under in the photos, but you can curl them up for a bit of whimsy.  They gracefully fall down below the flowers and add a bit of charm to the whole design. You can easily fold this hat in your luggage, so you can be fashionable while away. Perfect for a roaring 20's soiree or a vintage inspired wedding.You can wear this hat different ways...as you can see in the photos below. The brim can be worn up or down...the detail can be worn towards the front, on either side or the back. This is a beautiful one-of-a-kind original chapeau with such sweet feminine detailing.
