With 6+ yards of fabric, it would also be great used as fabric for sewing, quilting, crafts, drapes, or hung over a canopy bed.   Fabric: This beautiful sari is made from polyester fabric. The color is hard to describe, some combination of charcoal grey and dark dusky teal would be my best try to name it. It reminds me of a dark storm cloud. It is decorated with glittery blackish woven embellishment on the borders and pallu (head piece).   Condition: Brand new, never worn. Choli Measurements: Length: 15", Waist: 28", Bust: 34", Across the back between the shoulders: 13" Sleeves: Length: 3 1/2", Opening: 14", Cuff: 10". It has hook closures down the front. It has 3/4" seams that can let out to give an additional 1 1/2" on each side and each sleeve. It can also be easily taken in on the same side and sleeve seams to make it smaller. About the Measurements: The main size you need to look for is the bust. The rest of the measurements are generally proportional. Please note, your bust size is not your bra size! If you are estimating based on bra size please add some inches, at least one for each letter of your cup size. To be exact, you need to measure around the fullest part of the bust, especially since bras are often fitted incorrectly. All measurements are taken lying flat, numbers doubled (except length of course). Blouse length is from shoulder to waist, sleeve length is from underarm to cuff, bust is measured generally arm pit to arm pit, waist may actually mean just below the bust on short choli blouses, so please see pictures to tell. Please allow some extra space for you to breathe and move.  About Saris: Most saris are about 45 inches in width and over 6 yards long. An important thing to know is that a real sari is just one long piece of fabric, and you will also need a drawstring petticoat if you don't have one already, which is an undergarment (slip) that the sari tucks into to hold it in place.
