The jacket is from Columbia's high end Omni Tech Series so it is guaranteed waterproof and breathable. The jacket is the Snow Castle Parka in Intense Red with CREAM sleeves and light gray trim which matches the bibs. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A VIBRANT SHADE OF RED ~ ~ it is not at all orange as it may apprear in the photo (it is my camera!). This is a high end set that offers comfort and shelter for kids who get out and enjoy the winter weather...it should be VERY warm! The jacket has a heavy duty nylon shell and is insulated with Microtemp insulation which consists of very fine polyester insulating fibers which retain body heat and keep out the cold even in wet or snowy conditions. The jacket is also waterproof and breathable so you stay dry and comfortable out on the slopes! Other features of the coat include: two front zipper enclosed pockets that are sealed and waterproof, one zippered chest pocket, cute cargo pocket on the sleeve with gray swirl embroidery, powder skirt to keep out the snow, wind flap, locker loop, detachable hood that is fully lined and also has velcro tabs for tightening, adjustable sleeve cuffs, radial sleeves for full range of motion, velcro chin flap, and internal name tag. The pants are the Free Run Bibs also by Columbia in Moonstone (Light Grey) which nicely matches the grey trim color of the jacket. They have black trim at the bottoms. The bibs are also waterproof and breatable, zip up the front, adjustable velcro tabs at the waist, growth cuffs that can be taken out, two front pockets and snow gators at the cuffs.
