There are no words to describe the way I felt in this dress. Everyone said that it was the most beautiful wedding dress they had ever seen. My husband was speechless!!   This is an original Monique Lhuillier “Scarlett Dress”. It is a size 6; I wear the same size in regular clothes. I am 5’6” and wore 3 inch heels. I purchased it from Betsy Robinson Bridal in Owings Mills MD.  The dress has also been packaged and preserved by the bridal salon so that you will be ready to wear it the moment it is received.   The dress is made of ivory lace over a latte colored silk slip (which is sewn directly into the dress so that there is no slippage or bunching). The dress is fitted with a mermaid style bottom and very short train. I chose not to have a bustle because I thought that it would make such a stunning dress look too busy. You can see from one of my pictures that there is no bustle but that the dress was slightly altered to cup by bottom and then to hang flat. It is still possible to have a bustle if that is something you desire for your dress. The front is a plunging “V” line and the back is dramatically open.
