The lace adds that confectionary treatment that  was standard on the lavish costumes of the 1800's.We make this bonnet to be worn with lovely day dresses and costumes that cross into many historical periods.  As you can see, the bonnet will add lots of charm to any costume that it matches and compliments. The chantilly bridal lace trim is beautiful over cottons, satins, taffetas, and more. We are showing the solid  red and black.We offer this bonnet beauty in other colors.     Bonnet is quilted to prevent fabric from sagging, and helps bonnet to hold shape for years to come. Bonnet has Timetex, batting, and buckram interlining for shaping and molding. Black antique velvet edging borders the entire bonnet. Black Chantilly lace added for extra femininity. Sash-ties are made from black sheer silk organza. Sheer silk organza decorative black bows adds the finishing touch. Bonnet matches our red cape with black antique velvet trim(below) shown in a separate listing.     Bonnet will fit most adult sizes.
