I also make female armor, and many accessories such as pouches, bags, weapon carriers, belts and more that can be also made custom to match your armor.  This auction is meant more to entice you into a custom commission of your own than to sell what is presented here.In this auction I am selling the *Breastplate*  similar to what is seen in the pictures, but MADE CUSTOM to your measurements and specifications and preferences. Complete with edge tooling and raised Celtic designs with unique dye technique, or other details if you wish to make changes.  I'd rather make something entirely unique to suit your own taste.  And if you take the Buy It Now price I would include the tassets and a simple crest to go with the breastplate.  Also note that when I say 'breastplate' I am also referring to the back plate.  And this breastplate is reminiscent of the old lorica style in that it has multiple floating articulating sections which allow for excellent range of movement and is the style I prefer for all my armors because of its functionality and comfort.If you like what you see but don’t find anything to suit your particular desires, keep in mind most of what I do is custom work so just shoot me an email (Samuel[at]PrinceArmory.com) and tell me what you’re looking for.  If there is something you've dreamed up for your local Ren Fest, or convention, or SCA or LARP group, I can make it happen.  If you haven't dreamed it yet, I can do it for you!ANY SIZE, ANY COLORThe overlays (IE the Gryphon crest and name plate) were part of a specific one of a kind commission thus will not be included. Time Frame:  Typically 3-6 weeks just depending on current work-load but please allow up to 8 weeks in worst case scenario.  If you have an event you must make on time and need expedited service, feel free to discuss it with me and we'll see what can be arranged.  Note that the Halloween time frame can be hectic as well.The Helmet -  Looks like a costume piece but is absolutely fully functional armor with the bulk of the gryphon head swinging up as a visor. It is -Not- included. I have some ideas I’d like to try for anyone with the cash to front for such extravagant helmets. Dragon head, Wolf head, Lion head, Raven head, come to mind but there is no end (I'm in the works of a dragon suit with dragon helm if you check my Deviant Art gallery (link up top).The Pauldrons, Arms, and Tassets or any other pieces I can also make additionally and I'll work out a nice package deal if you're wanting a full suit. NOTE!  Understand that the armor being sold in this auction is not yet made.  It will be crafted, handmade, specifically tailored to the buyer and will require time to be constructed from the ground up.Custom Options & Ideas:Hardware: Nickel, Brass, Gunmetal (Black)Elaborate Buckles: Most people stick with standard buckles but I can make the armor with highly decorative buckles (Also more expensive, but very nice)Conchos: I can add any sort of conchos on your armor as well.Tooling: I have countless tools available to enhance the armor. Generally I tool the edges. If you want a different design from what is pictured just ask. Metal Spikes: Add strategically placed dog collar spikes (small or large) You can have me fill up your armor with solid spikes for all I care, but any metal hardware adds up in cost quickly. Hardened Leather Spikes.Gradient Dye effect. This is a very awesome effect that will really make your armor stand out.Solid Color Dye. This is something that isn't done very often but looks remarkable.Spiked Spine. I can make a really cool spine going down the backSlicked Inside. Ah yes, the most often ignoredLined Inside. Even better, I can line the inside of your armor with soft garment leather.Rolled edges. Edges are generally smoothed very well but rolled edges can be very comfortable and look great at the same time.Fur Lining or Rolled Edges. this is getting serious, it'll cost some bucks but how few folks get to sport fur lined armor? PLEASE make sure you arent allergic to the fur of your choice. I can ship a sample to you before hand to be sure.Limitless: The list goes on and on. If you can think it up, I can probably make it. If you can't, let me think it up for you. Don't hesitate to ask if I can make your dream a reality.PaymentMy general policy is to take half down as a deposit and half upon completion. I also allow for a payment plan and ship upon final payment.  However, I know money isn't easy to come by and am very flexible with payments.  I have no problem locking in a commission with a very low deposit and work on it all the while as payments come in at whatever the client can afford.I prefer paypal but if you want to give me money I wont be picky.   I can make armor to fit your budget as well if this particular example is too pricey.  SCA, LARP Etc.Every group varies so if you intend to participate with this armor, please check your group's rules before finalizing the order. If I need to round a few corners or change the design I'm happy to do so.Materials (As presented in pictures):Heavy-Duty Saddle Skirting - (10-12oz Tooling Cow Hide)Nickel Plated BucklesNickel Plated Double Capped RivetsNickel Chicago Screws - These provide ultra heavy duty pivot joints for the armor.Dye - Fiebings Yellow and USMC Black Functionality & Comfort: This armor is designed to be as flexible as possible. I make all of my armor so that you can do acrobatics if you so desire. All joints are held together with Chicago Screws This is very durable and allows joints to function very smoothly. Floating articulations are held with tooling hide for the most support Break In – Notice! This armor will require a break in period. The leather used in armor has a nice property: over time it will MOLD TO YOUR BODY and stretch to your movement patterns. So it will be more comfortable each time you wear it. Heat Issues?– I wear armor in the Texas heat, and the Arizona heat and I –hate- the heat but I make due so it’s really not as bad as you would think. However if the thought of heat scares you, you can get a set of Under Armor (spandex stuff) and it will help keep you cool and will provide a nice comfortable and solid black base to wear your armor over. (I don’t get paid to advertise that by the way, just a helpful tip) Custom Fit and Plus Sizes: The armor will be designed and tailored specifically for the buyer so I will need measurements after the auction's close. The finished fit will be very adjustable to allow for weight gain or loss.  For XXL (2XL) sizes please add 8%, and 4% for each plus size thereafter.  Plus sizes determined by standard clothing size.What's Included In This Auction?:Breastplate - (Upper Torso) Lorica style, 6 sections (3 front, 3 back)If Buy It Now is used I will include Tassets and a Simple Crest for the breastplate. Maintenance & Repair- It's armor, while you -could- just put it on the stand and stare at it, it is designed to be WORN and USED! (Disclaimer- This is not bullet/dumbass proof...) It is very heavy duty but in the incredibly unlikely event that something does happen, this brings me to my next point: Warranty - I stand behind my craftsmanship and will guarantee it from breaking due to any reasonable use or misuse. "Reasonable" being relaxed because I expect the buyer to wear it out to no end, go roll in the dirt, it will be fine, but if something does break, send it back and I'll fix it for free. I will also readjust the armor to fit if you happen to gain or lose weight.  Just send it back and I'll refit it, also for free. “But where could I use it?” you ask? Well most of you browsing this will probably have a good idea, but to give you a few ideas of where you might want to visit in your armor: Renaissance Festivals – You’ll feel right at home.
