Perfectly tailored Christening/Baptismal gown for your little baby boy. 100% Silk Dupioni gown features "faux" button on skirt with mother of pearl buttons, short cuffed sleeves and collar trimmed in ice blue silk dupioni with two different styles of embroidery down the center. Six 1/2" pleats frame the embroidery. Skirt has three 1" pleats at the bottom. Also available in long sleeves. Fully lined in 100% Cotton Batiste with attached slip. Back closes with mother of pearl buttons. Your choice of bonnet - email me for options.Entire gown is finished on the inside with couture style French seams and is fully lined with a very soft 100% cotton Batiste. There are NO raw edges to scratch baby or ravel. Silk Dupioni is an elegant heirloom fabric found only in specialty boutiques and custom dress shops.  It is "pearl" white - a shade between bright white and off white - giving the gown a rich, creamy look.  Natural silk fabrics have slubs which are an inherent part of the fibers.  These should not be mistaken for flaws in the fabric.  Coordinating monogrammed blanket and bib available for an additional $35.
