Bodice: This bodice is a gorgeous style, is long (about 4" below the waist) which creates a beautiful and slimming silhouette.  It is made from deep red and black Dragon Skin fabric, lined in black cotton, and interlined with heavy cotton duck for super stability.  It is fully boned all around, is completely turned so there are no uneven or distracting top stitching, and laces up the back with gold double sided, machine set grommets (also reinforced with boning).  The style features princess seams in the front to support the bust, squared front neckline, straight bottom all around, long, flattering lines, and gold lacing finishing up the back.  This bodice is professionally made, heavy duty to withstand years of wear, and is comfortable yet very supportive.  (Note: no dragons were harmed in the making of this bodice.) This bodice measures (exact) bust = 38", waist = 32", bottom edge = 36" (4" below waist). For the BEST fit, your measurements should be 2" to 3" LARGER than these measurements.  If you are right at or smaller than these measurements, then it will fit loosely on you.  Please measure yourself carefully and DO NOT rely on your bra measure!!  The bust measurement is at the fullest part of your bust, completely unrelated to your bra number!  Your waist measure is just above your navel.  Get a tape measure and a friend! So, to fit this bodice best, your measurements should range: Bust: 40" to 41" Waist:  34" to 35" 4" below waist:  36" to 38" (yes, this is correct since hips don't squish) *If you don't mind the gap in the back (which looks cute too), then your measurements can be a little larger than listed here.  We would recommend no more than a 1"-2" gap to look & still fit well.  The maximum measurements would then be bust= 42", waist= 36", high hip= 40" Please email me with any measurement questions. (Note: if you are short waisted, under 16" from neck to waist, this bodice may be too long for you.  Please contact us for a custom ordered bodice!  When in doubt, just ask :) Blouse: The blouse is made of white cotton muslin and has long sleeves with open asymmetrical style cuffs, has adjustable elastic at the neckline and is elastized just above the elbows.  It is an off the shoulder style.  All seams are sewn with industrial (not commercial/home) serger machines, and are finished with rolled hems.   The blouse is a one sized garment, perfect fit for this set! ~Choose your skirt style from the two described below ~ please inform us of your choice of skirt when purchasing!~ Petal Skirt: The petal skirt is so cute, being made of 12 separate petals that are attached to a waistband (so when you move or spin, they all flair out because they are only attached at the top).  The petals alternate in red and black cotton fabrics.  It has a draw string adjustable waist for a perfect stay in place fit (no sagging under your bodice!). The drawstring is strung through the waistband and out small grommets for stability and long term use.  It features a smaller waistband circumference (about 56") to reduce bulk under your bodice, making it much more comfortable to wear and layer.  It's length is 37" and the edges are finished with industrial serged edges.  The petal skirts are intended to be layered over a long skirt, short skirt, pantaloons, tights, shorts, etc.  It is shown layered over the long black skirt.  Both skirts are not included in the auction, so pick which one you like!  If you would like both skirts, that is no problem, we can add the price of the second skirt onto the invoice, please contact us for details :) The skirts will fit any size waist up to 56" or smaller (and fit over hips 56" and smaller).  Any alterations are the complete responsibility of the buyer.
