The costume was hand made using a Couture Wedding Dress Sample as a base. The dress was modified and stitched by hand; and then hand dyed in blues and greens using cold water color-fast dyes (absolutely no shrinking). As a finishing touch seashell strings were hand stitched to the bodice. The dress is a monokini style one piece and zips up the back. The bodice has light boning, while the skirt has built in crinoline for added fullness and a cathedral train. The train has a ribbon you can wear around your wrist so make it easier to get around. This dress is absolutely stunning! You will love the shimmering quality of the silk. To complete the seaside look, I've included a fishing net hip scarf with real seashells hot glued on and 2 seashell necklaces.
