The umbrellas were purchased at an estate sale and we were not able to find out specifically when or where they were made, nor specifically what the material is. This exceptional umbrella is in wonderful condition with the exception of some wear on the brass finish on the handle.  The umbrella opens and closes properly. The umbrella is about 32" in diameter when open and it is about 32" in overall length. The umbrella is a lovely dark blue lined with beautiful off-white lace.  The ornate handle appears to be brass or brass plated.  There is a little wear on the finish as seen so I thought perhaps the latter, but I do not know for sure.  The handle flares wider toward the bottom and there is ornate scrolling open work in this area as seen in a closeup photo.
