I had the color confirmed at Hermes Boutique as Ficelle.Blindstamp 'R' with craftsman's unique marking.It is in excellent condition. The skins are still as supple as they were when the bag was painstakingly created. The color is Ficelle with a super lustrous rich patina. The hardware is 24K gold plated and the clasp is engraved 'Hermes Paris'. The Hermes Paris embossing underneath the flap is perfectly bright with no fading. (It wasn't until later that Hermes added the "^" to Porosus bags to indicate the species of crocodile.) The bag comes with keys, original Porosus crocodile clochette, original Porosus crocodile covered lock, and sleeper bag. This bag is measuring 28CM or: 29 cm/ 11.5" long, 21 cm/ 8 1/4" high and 11 cm or 4 1/2" deep There is no drying or cracking to the skins. The hardware is bright and shiny. The interior of the bag is in very good condition with couple small faint marks. It is lined in softest lamb leather (agneau), with an open pocket against the back (The zippered pocket typical of today's Kellys was not added until years later.) and double open pockets against the front of the bag. Great for cell phone storage. This fabulous Kelly just returned from the spa treatment at Hermes on Madison. The corners are in excellent condition with no signs of wear.
