He is best known for outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail, both evident on this imposing neo-classical tureen in the Roman taste, highlighted by foliate handles, egg-and-dart borders, and capped by an acanthus bud finial. One face is beautifully engraved with a Baronial armorial. Fully and clearly marked on wall of base and inside cover for London, 1828, with maker's mark of Paul Storr.
