It is an impressive and significant testament to fashion history. Professional opinion has it  that the dress,  apart from its aesthetic value is a fine investment piece.  Its value will continue to increase providing it is kept in pristine condition. Christies of London sold a similar dress in November, 2007. The dress is in mint condition.
